Take home this Deering Classic Goodtime Banjo that was signed by Steve Martin!
Steve Martin is currently in the fifth decade of a uniquely varied and accomplished career in which he’s excelled as a comedian, actor, author and playwright, and as a Grammy-winning, boundary-pushing bluegrass banjoist and composer.
In 2013, Rounder Records released Steve Martin’s third full length album called “Love Has Come For You.” The album is a unique collaboration with songwriter Edie Brickell. Martin was recently nominated for Best American Roots Song for “Pretty Little One” with Edie Brickell.
About the Classic Goodtime Banjo:
With a Bluegrass resonator back for projection, The Classic Goodtime 2 banjo has a 3-ply violin grade maple rim and produces a bright and clear tone that projects well and is louder than an open back banjo. The Classic 2 is enhanced with a Rich Brown stain, white detailing and spikes at 7, 9, and 10. The use of spikes enables you to expand your playing from the key of G to easily play in the keys of A, B and C
Please note the banjo pictured with Steve Martin is NOT up for auction.
